Is it possible to re-save a song saved in NWC2 so as to be available in NWC?
No. A file created or last saved by NWC2 cannot be viewed or edited by NWC1.
My newest approach is to develop songs in NWC.
Afterwards, I convert to NWC2 and apply any new features.
This gives me a copy in both versions.
The NWC/2 folders are exact duplicates of each other, except I tack on "_2" to songs done with NWC2.
As of NWC2 Beta 2.13, you can regress a file back to version 1.75 using the File, Export command.
I haven't tried it yet, but if it works:
