Title: MPCs and Importing MIDIs
Post by: Evan K on 2004-10-24 01:46 am
I know that NWC won't import MPCs (and I'm not complaining).  Are there any other programs which do?
In other words, if I did some weird things with MPCs, could other people import with some other program(s) and have the weirdness preserved?

If you exported your NWC composition as a MIDI file, and somebody else played your MIDI file, they would be able to hear your weird MPC effects.  If they opened your MIDI file with sequencing software such as Cakewalk, then I believe they would also be able to ‘see’ your weird MPC effects.

I was kinda hopin' that all of the other programs would show a "stripped-down" score the way NWC does (I'm trying to keep certain "tricks" a secret...).
Oh, well.
Thanks, Graham
