Does it have any "eggs"? (cool things hidden from normal usage?)
My opinion: Yes and no. Everything that the program does is documented, but there are some novel applications of some of the program's features which could be considered eggs.
A good many of these usages are documented in the User Tips. If you find any such "eggs", submit them!
There is a file "bones.nwc" which builds an entire skeleton as text to illustrate "the shoulder bone's connected to the neck bond" which is fun to play. I've also seen some cases where humorous lyrics have been added to instrumental solos. These have been attached to messages posted in the Newsgroup (http://news://news2.ezusa.net/ntworthy.nwc) from time to time.

There have been some interesting ones in some of the microsoft programs like the pinball game in Word and the flight simulator in Excel.
I don't ever remember finding a "musical" egg though.

Pinball in Word - (Version 97 only)
1. Open a new document
2. Type "Blue"
3. Select word
4. Go to Format -> Font
5. Choose Font Style Bold, Color Blue
6. Type " " (space) after word "Blue"
7. Go to Help -> About
8. Ctrl-Shift-Left click the Word icon/banner
9. Use Z for left flipper, M for right flipper, and ESC to exit
Flight sim in Excel - (version 97 only)
1. On a new Worksheet, Press F5
2. Type X97:L97 and hit enter
3. Press the tab key
4. Hold Ctrl-Shift
5. Click on the Chart Wizard toolbar button
6. Use mouse to fly around - Right button forward/ Left button reverse
There are some later versions of Excel 97 where this doesn't work. If this happens, try entering
r97c12:r97c24 in step 2.

There was also meant to be a midi file embedded in some versions of Word 2000 but I've never found it.

2) Rename it to say: and now the moment you've all been waiting for
3) Rename it to say: we proudly present for your viewing pleasure
4) Rename it to say: The Microsoft Windows 95 Product Team!
5) Open the folder...
Works for me...
