Title: Adding a staff... or suppressing one for printing
Post by: Chris on 1997-01-06 05:00 am
I'm a new user of Noteworthy Composer, and enjoying it !

I write and arrange for an 8-part close-harmony group and need to be able to add and remove parts (preferably on their own staves) as we progress through a piece. Otherwise I only get one system per page !

Is there an option to add or remove a staff partway through a piece, either and preferably in the score editting window, or in the printed score.

Thanks,

Chris.

Hi Chris:

At the moment, there is not any way to make the number of staves per system dynamic as a printout progresses from one system to the next. If you would like to request this type of functionality, you may do so from our wish list form at /composer/wishlist.htm.

I hope this helps.

Does anyone knows if there has been any progress since 1997 about this topic?

Yes.
We know there has been no progress.
