Title: Transposition including a Coda
Post by: Simon Gray on 2002-05-13 03:34 pm
If you need to transpose a piece that includes a Coda, you must use a Flow Direction command to get there. Otherwise NoteWorthy Composer cannot tell how the Coda connects to the rest of the piece, which means that its' key signature is undefined.

For example, a text expression of 'Last time to Coda' can look OK on the printed score (at normal pitch), but doesn't give NoteWorthy Composer the information it needs to calculate the new key signature when transposing.

Editor's Note: The sample file REPEAT3.NWC that is included with NWC shows the correct way to construct a Coda section redirection.
