I would like to take music from two different instruments and combine them together on the same staff. I know how to make chords using the Alt-Ctrl combination immediately after a note, but can long passages be put together?
The easiest way to do this is to use staff layering. Enable staff layering in "Page Setup", and in the top of the two staffs you want to layer, enable "layer with next staff" in Staff Properties. (You might want to keep them unlayered while you enter the notes, or it can become quite confusing.)
