Title: adding slash marks
Post by: Zane Johnston on 2001-02-12 05:00 am
I'm new at this stuff and I can't figure out how to add "slash marks",i.e. chord symbols on top,4/4 time, 4 slashes per measure...
I see them in many charts, but I can't figure out how to use NWC to place them in my score.

You can use the slash (lives with the ? on your keyboard) entered as text using the x or X key command. For an example of how this can be used for rhythm indications, have a look at:

Oops... forgot to mention that the tremolo marks on the slashes come from an external font, specifically "Boxmarks" available in the "Helpful files" section at the NWC Scriptorium (http://nwc-scriptorium.org/).
