Hello, I hope it is okay to post this message here.
I have purchased and downloaded NWC 2.75 in April, but my computer broke down and I had to buy a new one.
Since I didn't back up my NWC install file on a different device, I am not able to install it on my new computer.
I have tried searching for the install file on https://noteworthycomposer.com or for any information in the FAQ but no avail.
Also, the email address support@noteworthysoftware.com doesn't seem to reply.
Can someone help me find out how to install NWC on my new computer?
Thank you.
I may have a similar problem, but I have an install disk for 1.75a. Will soon be moving to a new Windows 11 computer that does not have a CD drive. I'll try to save it while I'm on my old computer and may have something you can use in a day or two.
I am on a new computer (Windows 11). I had copied the install CD to a thumb drive and was able to install in on the new PC, but after one upgrade, I am only up to 1.75c and will have to pay extra to get a 2.X version. As a 24 year user, I thought I was beyond that.
At any rate, we know copying the install disk to a thumb drive "works".
Hey Warren,
If you still have access to your old computer, look in the:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Noteworthy Software\NoteWorthy Composer 2\Setups
folder. You should find the installer for the version of NWC2 your were using.
Thank you. An online backup service is doing its thing now restoring my stuff. I'll try it out tomorrow.
