Once upon a time I could watch the playing time of a piece by observing a small window at the bottom right of the screen. Has this gone away (and why), or do I now have to enable it (and how). :-)

It's still there, on the lower right of the main window.
It's not there on my screen, either with the main window in regular or maximized position. I'm using Win98. I moved the Win98 taskbar to the right edge (to see if it was in the way) and still see nothing.
I'll try playing with the main window later and see if I can make something happen.
BTW, May marks the second anniversary that I've had NoteWorthy, and I could not be happier with it.

You need to have thet Status Bar enabled on the View menu (View | Status Bar).
