Please excuse my ignorance. But I notice there are Master Open & Close special endings and Local Open & Close special endings. How do they differ?

Hi JB, special endings do not work for local repeats. A local repeat simply repeats the bars between the open and close the number of times specified on the close.

Master repeats obey special ending rules.

FWIW I only use local repeats for making a swing tempo/conductor staff
