Title: Formatting Print
Post by: R Powley on 2017-10-27 01:57 AM
I am trying to print a song with 6 verses and a 1 line chorus.
Is there a way to reduce the space reserved by the lyrics function for the 6 verse lines to a lesser amount for the 1 chorus line?

If you have V2.75 (not sure about 2.5x) you can.

Put the lyrics for the 1 line chorus in the same tab as verse 6, then us the Boundary Command ( ] )to change the staff boundaries.  It will default to the current settings, simply change the lower one to get what you need - a little experimentation will obviously be required.

Use the "Reset to Default" radio button to restore after the end of the chorus.

Note that the changes will not start part way through a staff, but at the start of the next staff, and similarly fr the end.
