Post by: Eddie on 1999-03-24 05:00 AM
How do I listen to midi files with *.gmi format?

Although I am not familar with a *.gmi file type, I will hazzard a guess. It sounds like this is an abbreviation for *.gmidi, which would tend to indicate that the file is:

1) a Standard MIDI file
2) conforms to the General MIDI specification

If this is the case, you should be able to rename the file as *.mid, and use it as any normal *.mid file.

It's midi from "Tie fighter" so it's very old format.
