Title: Crescendos and ritardandoes
Post by: Erling Andreassen, Norway on 1999-03-18 05:00 AM
Does anyone have any clues on how to apply smooth crescendoes and ritardandoes to Noteworthy projects? Preferrably in a way that affects several staffs simultaneously. A long time ago I submitted to the wish list a few thaughts about a master track that could handle such issues, I don't know if Noteworthy is working on it

they way i do crescendos is to input a dynamic such as mp and then enter the crescendo mark and then input my final dynamic marking, say fff. And it should gradually increase note volume for you.

I don't think crescendo and decrescendo have any effect on held notes. For this you need the multi-point controller, which is (imho) awkward at best.

If you are changing MIDI volume, and your sound card is of higher quality, then the volume changes will have an effect on held notes.
