Title: importing midi files into nwc
Post by: Paul on 1999-02-21 05:00 AM
Apologies if this has been covered before - is there a way to avoid/remove key signatures and time signatures from the beginning of every bar on imported midi files - other than going througbn and deleting them individually?

Using NWC, select File | Export and export the file as a type 1 MIDI file. NWC is smart enough to remove the extraneous signature data when exporting to a MIDI file. Now, select File | Import to import the file again. This new imported file should only have the necessary signatures.

Note: As of version 1.70, MIDI imports and exports are done via the Open and Save As commands, respectively.
