Title: Cant get scores to come up in NWC
Post by: Rosalyn Saarinen on 1999-02-20 05:00 AM
I'm using the unregistered trial vers.of NWC and Netscape Vers. 4.04 and when I go into Cyber Hymnal, right click score, then save it then go into NWC and try to bring the score up for viewing I get a message that the file is corrupted. I am able to get all of the sample scores to come up fine. Any help out there?

This means that the MIME type is not set correctly on the web site. Netscape incorrectly retrieves the file as ASCII instead of BINARY. You can switch to Internet Explorer, use an FTP program, contact the publisher of the web site, or follow the links below for additional ideas.

I get this all the time. I am using Internet Explorer 5.0, and I am trying to open files from the NWC Scriptorium (for example, https://noteworthycomposer.com/nwcforum/1/1088.htm). (http://www.noteworthysoftware.com/).) It seems to append a [1] to the file name. If I download it, then open it from the file, it works fine.

Netscape 4.08 works fine. Is this an IE bug?
