Title: Delayed chords
Post by: Richard Schmidt on 1997-04-16 04:00 AM
I want a delayed chord, (ie. [1/2] beat note on top, with a [1/4] beat rest, followed by a [1/4] beat note of a lower pitch) I currently have to have a [1/4] beat note tied to a [1/4] beat chord. I believe this can get rather unsightly. Is there an alternative?

Thanks.

Just enter your quarter rest, and then add your top note (correct length) as a chord member. NWC copes with rests as a topmost or bottommost chord member, but you must enter the rest first. The following note will be placed - timewise - after the shortest note.

Hope this makes sense.
