Title: Inserting scores into other files
Post by: Alec Brady on 1999-02-03 05:00 AM
I'm looking for a way to insert a score into a word-processor file (I use MS Word 97) so I can print out a song book. To date what I do is print out the score, scan it, save it as a .gif and insert it as a picture. Does anyone have any better ideas?

Do a print preview in Noteworthy.
If all is as you expect for the page then click on copy.

This can copy the page as it would be printed into the clipboard (16 bit and 32 bit versions differ slightly I think).

Swap to Word and then select edit paste. This will paste that page into word. Check to see that the words at the end of lines (if any) are all completely printed. Sometimes the words get chopped off. If this happens, you need to play around with the margins and the font sizes or even put some spaces at the end of the bar causing problems.

Use the same procedure for all pages.

H.T.H.
