Title: Margins
Post by: Flurmy on 2013-01-26 07:08 PM
In the "page setup" margin input edit boxes, copy and paste are not allowed.
Why?

And then the decimal dot must be... well, a decimal dot.
As you know, here in the old Europe many (me too) use the comma.

With few exceptions, in my programs I allow both characters as "decimal dots" in input and use the locale (courtesy of windows :-) for the display.

copy and paste are not allowed.
Ctrl+C and Ctrl+V don't work.
Every other method I tried works. Context menus, Ctrl+Insert, Shift+Insert

As to the decimal indicator, I suspect that Noteworthy hasn't revisited the code used to generate the Margins Tab of the Page Setup Command (http://ntworthy.com/nwc2/help/MNU_PAGESETUP.htm) in many years. I suspect that there are "internationally aware" spinbox controls, but not in NWC.

Or it may be as simple as allowing a comma and treating it as a dot.

My problem is that I put two dots in, and NWC responds with an "out of range" popup :(

I use so rarely Ctrl+Insert and Shift+Insert that I forgot to try them.

Two dots? It's a colon! ;-)

So when you examine a score to try to find two dots, is it a colonoscopy? ;-)
