Title: Percussion on different scores
Post by: Paul Chesterton on 1997-03-21 05:00 AM
I got the percussion to work on Noteworthy, now I was wanting to know if there's a way to put the percussion on more than one score. I tried sending two scores through channel 10, but it dramatically lowered the overall volume of the two scores, and when I put all of the percussion on one score, the cymbals usually drown out the drums (bass drum and snare mainly). So if I could have percussion on even just two scores, I could set the volumes more accurate. Thanks!

You should be able to produce many staffs using channel 10 or 16 or both. One thing you might try is to pan the parts on on staff to the left, another to the right, one in the middle, etc. to cut down on the apparent conflicts in volume. It probably on seems that way as every thing is coming at you at once. try separating the staffs in this way. Worth a try at least.
