Do you mean in the editor or in a print out?

If you mean in the editor, then:
File | Page Setup | Contents (tab) | Remove the X from the part/staff in the "Visible Parts" part of the dialogue.

Actually, this will also remove it from the print out...

Gillysteo,
it will help very much, if you would  use the
"Additional Options > Attach: > Browse "
to locate the file on which you are working, to attach it to your message,
and then in words tell us what you want to do.

You can use the Boundary Change Command (http://ntworthy.com/nwc2/help/MNU_ADDSIZER.htm) to collapse a part when it should not be included in the printout. The Boundary Change Properties (http://ntworthy.com/nwc2/help/TAB_NTNPROPSIZER.htm) describes the various options.
