Post by: Flurmy on 2012-01-12 07:33 AM
How can I search the forum for a specific attachment, given its name?

That's exactly the question for which I too am looking for an answer.

This forum software does not include an attachment search feature. You can review your own attachments by starting from your profile. From the summary page, there is a View Attachments link.

You can always try a  search for an attachment using Google advanced search engines.

Not guaranteed to work but it does some of the time.

So a Google search of :

Quote
"New_Features.txt" site:https://forum.noteworthycomposer.com/

will find this link :

Richard,
Thank you

Sadly,  searches similar to:

"Eventide.nwc" site:https://forum.noteworthycomposer.com/

failed

Good suggestion Richard.

Note that Google site search will only work for the publicly viewable forum boards.

Strange - it worked for me just now when I tried.

Thanks -
I disabled "AVG secure search" and selected "GOOGLE"
and the search found a number of places.
