I can enter a note (from my Casio synth) into noteworthy but not its duration. How to do this?

This question pops up from time to time. What you're seeing is a "step wise" recording. To enable accurate (?) time resolution for the notes you enter you need to load a "song" in Noteworthy that will be played back when you hit the record button.
I normally use a click track that I've made with a percussion staff that simply contains a snare hit for each beat in the bar. When you press record this will play back for you and you can play your keyboard against it. The keyboard will be recorded on to a new track.
One trap, try to use a hardware rather than a software synth, or if you only have a software one then use the standard Microsoft one (it has pretty low latency) for the recording process. This will eliminate the time delay that a softsynth inevitably introduces which can then cause your recording to be appearing late.
