Title: How can I stop Noteworthy sounding every note as I enter it?
Post by: geoff warmington on 2011-01-25 05:06 PM
I find it very irritating when noteworthy sounds each note as I enter it. Does anyone know how I can switch this off. I have tried muting the stave. I could just mute the PC sound output but I sometimes like to listen to other music when I am creating simple exercises for my band and do not want to hear every note input. I just want to mute the noteworthy output at this time.

Tools->Options...->Midi->'Play notes on entry'
should be unchecked.

Play notes on entry
This controls whether new notes are played as they are entered from the computer keyboard.

Thank you Rick G, this works. What a strange place to put this, I would have expected it under general options. Still it works for me so thanks again.
