Post by: Kaneko on 1998-09-08 04:00 AM
Sorry, I cann't English very well.
I tried Copy on Preview.
But It is not beautiful on Drow Apllications.
Lines are not same thickness.
And picture Size is too small.
I want to send scores to my band member by bitmap
or other data.
How can I get beautiful scores as printing.

try to refer to https://forum.noteworthycomposer.com/?topic=536, https://forum.noteworthycomposer.com/?topic=132, https://forum.noteworthycomposer.com/?topic=614 where this subject has been discussed.
Direct export to .bmp generates 3Mb files (highly compressible though), but better solution exist (try wmf)

This should solve your trouble.

Hope this helps,
  Dominique

But surely the export feature to bitmaps makes 1 bit images?

1 bit bitmaps are tiny.

What kind of bitmaps does it make?

Thank you for your Infomation, marsu.
I see that clipboard date is Note Worthy True Font data.
I'll try paste on MS-Word.(I cann't now.)

To johnti
They are 1bit bitmap files, I want to create.
One bit bitmap files are smaller than any other image files,
if it was compressed (.zip for examble).
But I Don't know how create bitmap files from Word Documents.
Anyone Knows ?

If you select "bitmap" format from the NWC preview, you optain 1bit bitmap. I just tried, and got this result : Image is 4384x6414 , 1Bps incl. Colortable

Otherwise, from anywhere in windows (3.x, 95, NT), Alt+PrintScreen [PrintScreen respectively] puts a snapshot of the current window [whole screen resp.] in the clipboard. You can then paste it into PaintBrush or any other painting program, and save it as a b&w image.

Last thing about the .wmf export : you need to distribute the nwc15.ttf font along with your document (or am I wrong ?) to make your .doc viewable.

Hope this helps :^P

Thanks.

for 1st.
How did you got bitmap from the NWC preview ?

for 2nd.
I had tried Alt+PrintScreen, allready.
But, It requires me several times to get 1 page of score,
and I must synthesize these pictures.
There are other simple methods ?

for 3rd.
I don't know to export to .wmf files.

Have a look at https://forum.noteworthycomposer.com/?topic=642 and https://forum.noteworthycomposer.com/?topic=591 for earlier discussions in some depth. To get bitmaps and wmf files from preview, use the Copy button and follow on from there. (The 32-bit Version 1.52 now exports wmf files to disc.)
