Title: How to use nwcconv.exe
Post by: CambridgeChris on 2010-05-20 02:39 PM
The "what's new in NWC ver 2.1" help includes the statement

A command line program, nwc-conv.exe, is now included for converting *.nwc files to and from various other formats

Can anyone tell me how to use this program?  If I try to run it, nothing happens.

And will it convert Finale 2007 source files ( *.mus ) into nwc files ?

Thanks in advance for your help.

No, it won't convert Finale files. (or Sibelius, or Lilypond)
Latest details here: https://forum.noteworthycomposer.com/?topic=7253.0

It is a Console program, so you will usually need to open a Commnd Prompt to use it.

In a nutshell, nwc-conv can convert:

It can also extract song information from *.nwc and/or *.nwctxt files.
