Title: guitar tabs + drum tracks
Post by: Brad Gardiner on 1998-09-05 04:00 AM
I am in year 11 and currently writing a composition in Noteworthy. I have a problem. I have a guitar which is just comping and I can't write tabs (those little slashes on the staff). Can anyone help me?

Also I need to include a drum part, but I can't do that either.

Also is there any way of inserting a swing rhythm thing at the top of the staff (two quavers = triplet crotchet + quaver)? Help would be greatly appreciated.

For the tabs - have you tried inserting the / symbol as straight text with "Preserve Width" unchecked?

(I haven't, but it just might work....)

Multiple text inserts in bars that contain no note or rest data will ultimately spill out of the right screen margin.
(I keep a bucket there to catch the droppings)!
What we need are rhythm markers that occupy time.

Brad - Reply and explain your drum problem - I have a program that may help (a bit).
