Title: Experimental Layering Patch
Post by: Peter Vasey on 1998-08-28 04:00 AM
Following https://forum.noteworthycomposer.com/?topic=708 I downloaded the patch nwcxftr.exe. I have activated the patch and the
appropriate check box now appears in the Staff Visual window, BUT it doesn't do anything
when checked! The original experimental files still work ok.

I have version 1.52a, and have tried both the 32 bit and 16 bit versions of NWC. Any ideas?
(This might be one for NWC Support)

Peter.

You have global control over staff layering in the Page Setup Contents area. It defauls to off initially.

That's the ticket. I didn't read the 'Tip' thoroughly did I!!

Many thanks, Peter

Hi, for those of you that, like me, want the patch .exe for version 1.52a and don't have the newsgroup, go to this page:

http://www.noteworthysoftware.com/composer/usertip2.htm#layer

The .exe is there, along with a zip file of music using the experimental layering feature.

What fun NWC is!

Sue

Even more fun than NWC are the NWC users... and this forum and the newsgroup. Lots to learn, good fun, and helpful people. It doesn't get much better... :-)
