Title: Sound Patches?
Post by: Charles Blachly on 1998-08-27 04:00 AM
Is there any way to get noteworthy composer to play using
my collection of .pat files which are the GUS samples?
I have an SB16, and was just wondering if I could use
the samples.

It seems like you must have a software MIDI driver, which can use those .pat files for GUS. Then in NWC you can specify for all outgoing MIDI to go through this driver. Select Options/MIDI tab. Hope that this helps. I don't have a GUS. :)

You may use the "Timidity" software to transform your midi to wav (thru GUS sound patch) while playing.

hope this helps!
