Title: A question about transposing staffs??
Post by: jackvanseven7 on 2010-01-11 01:50 am
Hello! I am new so i don't know if this is the right place, but I am applying for a composition scholarship and I need to convert my songs into sheet music. I just purchased Noteworthy composer, and everything works fine except for one thing. I work with wav samples that are not always tuned to C, so I just ear it. The result is the sheet music has a detuned portion. When I try to transpose the staff, it only does so visually, and it does not actually change the notes. How do I retune this instrument, say, up 2 semitones?? The deadline is in 5 days so help me please!

Thank you very much!

I have one more question though. How do I print? I purchased the software but print is grayed out just like it was in the demo.

File->Print is how you print. It is available whenever you have a file open, as long as it is not currently being played.
