I am trying to change the instrument patch in a song. It shows up on the score, but when I play it, it sounds the same as before. Am I doing something wrong?
Assuming that you enter in the score an instrument patch, then I presume that you do d/c the instrument from the patch list you want.
If this concerns changing the "root" instrument, or in other words the instrument assigned in the first place in the score, then press F2, select the third tab, select the instrument assign a midi channel and then press ok. If this doesn't work then the problem has to come down to your soundcard
