I have a lot (>400) NWC2 files that I want to convert to midi files and then to MP3. Today I have to open each nwc2 file and then export as midi. This is very timeconsuming. Is there a faster way
MIDI File Converter from NoteWorthy Composer V1 Downloads (http://ntworthy.com/composer/download-v1.htm) will handle all the older files.
Converting 400 files through the User Interface should not take more than an hour.
But I still have to do the conversion file by file ?
NWC2 files must be converted one-by-one using a registered copy of NWC2.
Older files can be batch converted with MIDI File Converter.
We are planning to add an automation mechanism for NWC2 import/export, but as it is now, export must generally be done manually.
Manual MIDI export is speedy enough for me. IMO, further automation would only aid those who are "ripping" websites, a practice that should not be encouraged.
Registered users can already automate the conversion of all nwc files to nwctxt. That should suffice.
One wonders about folks whose first post on the forum begins with "I have hundreds of nwc files ..."
