Title: Losing data upon saving
Post by: ItmightbeJB on 2009-05-28 01:58 PM
Since my help files aren't working for some reason I'll try here.  (I really hate VISTA)  I lost two days worth of scoring yesterday because I'm apparently missing the method of saving my files properly.  How do I stop this from happening again please?  Thanks...

Umm, can you be more specific?  At the very least you should be able to use the recent file list to open and even locate the files you've saved.

If they're no longer available from the recent file list then I suspect something else may be going on...

Since you mention missing help files, this tends to indicate that you are using NWC Version 1 on Vista. You can fix the Help issues from this tip:

If you have not configured your file save location to your user file area on Vista, then you might have to dig around to find where you have saved the files. Vista UAC does some strange things with file saves into the Program Files area. As long as you have not changed UAC settings, you should just be able to use File, History to re-open recently made files.
