Title: How to use "beaming" with 2 voices at one staff?
Post by: Mazzltov on 2008-03-07 02:35 AM
L. S.!

Who knows how to use "beaming", when there are 2 voices in one staff to write polyphonic compositions.
I know the use of the combination [alt] [enter] but I need: upper voice with stem up, lower voice with stem down.
I see that "beaming" then fails in two voices at the same time.

Might be a bug?

Greetings,

Two voices on the same staff would require the use of layering. The technique is described here:

When layered, it is not a problem to use beams in each voice.
