Post by: SeaCanary on 2008-02-02 02:18 PM
Does anyone know where I can get The Maple Leaf Forever in either NWC or NW2 format, please?

It's no longer politically correct, but you can find it here:

Google is your friend...

I'm embarrassed to admit/realize I missed this one.

And grateful you found it.  Thanks, guy.

You're welcome.  I lucked into it - it came up on the first or second hit on Google.CA.  And to find it in NWC format already rather than midi or Finale, etc., was almost a miracle.

Couldn't find Heart of Oak, though.

Good luck with your project, and welcome to the NWC community.

If you find sheet music that you can scan as a TIFF image (or convert to TIFF), if it's relatively good quality there is an optical music recognition program called Sharpeye that you will find saves quite a bit of time notating it in NWC2.  Search this forum for Sharpeye for more info.
