Title: hiding items when printing
Post by: James Malone on 1998-07-09 04:00 AM
It should be possible to hide almost any item on a score when printing if it affects the MIDI performance. For intance, it should be possible to hide clef changes, repeat symbols, and eve notes. This way, it would be possible to put a hidden octave change in with an octave-shifted clef and print the more natural 8va-------------- for the performer.

Yes. Hiding items is a simple solution to many problems. Hiding rests would be very useful. See the discussion in http://www.noteworthysoftware.com/

Agreed agreed.
Again, please add it to http://www.noteworthysoftware.com/composer/wishlist.htm
as this is Eric's preferred method.
