Post by: Timoteus B on 2007-04-04 04:14 AM
Hey Guys,
I have just have to pass this one around for those who don't know.I happen to bump
into this site called musicarrangers.com where Mr Joe Paperoni gives a very comprehensible outlay of the basic prinsiples of arranging brass, strings rhythm section,
man you name it .After all these years  if some had asked me what a hemiola was
I would have thought it was some new sort of ice cream.

Thank you for this great resource.  I'm sure I'll be looking at it often.  I particularly liked his page on time (http://musicarrangers.com/star-theory/t00.htm (http://musicarrangers.com/star-theory/t00.htm)), because it supports what I've written in this forum a couple of times  (based on Nestico's book on arranging).
