Title: Score print cutoff
Post by: Bandgeek59 on 2007-01-03 03:15 AM
When I print a full score (with instrument names included on the first line) I only get the last 3 letters of the instrument and it cuts off a bit of the beginning of each staff.      Is this a printer thing, or is there some kind of indent setting i should adjust? When I have only one line, I don't have this problem.
Thanks

Have you checked your margin settings in File, Page Setup?

If this is the problem, the best margins depend on your printer. You can see the printable area numbers for your printer from File, Page Setup, Preview. These numbers are not always accurate, though. Some drivers even allow you to change the defined unprintable area.

If the unprintable area reported by your printer driver is accurate, then you can use Print Preview to find the ideal margin settings (Preview will blank out the unprintable area sections).
