Title: Happy New Year
Post by: Lawrie Pardy on 2006-12-31 01:34 PM
Happy new year everyone!

I dunno if I'm half an hour early or half an hour late!  'tis 12:30 AM here on the East coast of Australia and we're in daylight savings time...

Ahh, who cares!?!

The New Year dawned here in Spalding, in the east of England, with clear blue skies and sunshine - hopefully a good omen for 2007

Where's here, Christian?  (Raining bleakly in Vancouver today, too.)

The Swedish Christmas goat (Gävlebocken) survived Christmas season - http://www.theglobeandmail.com/servlet/story/LAC.20061230.SENSES30/TPStory/?query=Savouring+a+rainbow (http://www.theglobeandmail.com/servlet/story/LAC.20061230.SENSES30/TPStory/?query=Savouring+a+rainbow) and is still standing as at 10 pm New Year's night, local time.
