I know how to customize the type an styles for the font types for a song (page setup - fonts - modify).
But is it also possible to customize the the styles and types for the font types as 'standard font types' for all my coming songs so that I don't have to customize them again every time?
Thank you.
Geertjan.
Most settings are for the song files, rather than a change to the program defaults. Try using one song file as a template. Just save it under some unique file name, then when you want to start a new one, just open it, and immediately save it to a new file name, then carry on from there.
To take David's suggestion a little further, if you save the song file into the:
"C:\Program Files\Noteworthy Composer 2\Template" directory it will appear under the 'General' tab in the |File|New| dialogue.
Otherwise, there is a "Custom" directory under the "Template" directory which will show up under the 'Custom' tab in the |File|New| dialogue.
I use this all the time for the scores I do for church. I have our full line up pre-configured.
I didn't know either of those things. Thanks, Lawrie.
G'day David,
a pleasure mate.
I just noticed, I specified NWC2 in my earlier reply, but it works the same for NWC1...
I didn't know about the "custom" directory either, so I just had a brief experiment. It appears that all folders within your Template directory appear as tabs in the File New dialog. Your folders can have spaces in the name and can be empty.
Just lerve this extra level of organisation.
Thank you all for your suggestions!
Many thanks,
Geertjan.
