Title: Layering Semitones
Post by: LindsayH on 2006-06-27 01:43 PM
I'm sure this has been asked, but a search didn't turn up the question i needed.
When i layer and have two notes a semitone apart, the stems go in the right directions, but the blobs merge together into one mass; is there any way to keep them distinguishable, as separate notes, one going left from the stem, one right?

Thank you,
Lindsay

In notation properties set extra note space to 1 for one of the notes.

Make sure to set extra note space for the note that is stem down, so that the stems are properly aligned.
