Just wondering if there is a way to have 3 notes played in the same time as a half note.
Like I would have a half note playing, and then have 3 equal notes play during that. Kinda weird, just tell me if you don't understand.

Yup, that's easy. 2 Quarter notes (Crotchets) equal a half note (minim). 3 crotchets in a triplet also equal a minim. So insert your 3 crotchets where you want 'em, highlight 'em and press <Ctrl-T>.
