How can I obtain an ascending gliss of 3-4 octaves? Tks.

Over how many beats?  You might be able to approximate it with 32nd notes.

...gliss of 3-4 octaves - in short, you don't.  At least not in NWC.

There is a technique that was proposed by Fred Nachbur and an example of which is on the Scripto http://nwc-scriptorium.org/ftp/helpful/gliss.nwc It works fairly well most of the time but I've had sound cards with which it is not always effective, and it would be very tedious for 4 octaves.
