I do not have a copy of the NW CD, so where can I download a copy of the NW Handbook

I did - and can't find it.
I downloaded this file some time ago - there were about 170 pages - I'd like to download it again as I have lost the original one - I think it was a PDF file

are you thinking of the "Command Reference" that Barry Graham originally put together?

It is available here (http://nwc-scriptorium.org/ftp/documentation/NWCCS.zip) on the Scripto, also accessible from the command page (http://nwc-scriptorium.org/command.html) in whole (first link) or in parts.
