Title: Soft All of A sudden
Post by: TrumpetMaster on 2005-06-06 08:25 PM
Hi. I am not new to the forum, however, I have a little predicament.

Sforzando (sFz) is all of a sudden loud right? Well, I am writing a band piece where the snare drum crescendos eight notes consecutively until the beginning of the next measure when it drops dynamic greatly to keep the main melody on top. So, I am wondering if there is some sort of sPz or something that would symbolize abrupt softness.
