Recent music, which would include "famous" pop music, is still under copyright. That limits your ability to find it in NWC format, or any other format.

Sometimes, you can find MIDI files of such music. Such MIDI files may themselves by copyrighted, as MIDI orchestration. Also, the original music copyright still applies.

That said, it appears that some copyright holders turn a blind eye to some MIDI files, if they feel that the popularization improves music sales. One way to find such files is to guess that file name, and use a search engine. For example, if you are looking for a song titled "My Dog Eats Bananas," you might try searching for dog_bananas.mid or other likely titles.

Actually, Google works better if you put in the whole title in quotes plus the word midi as in:

"my dog eats bananas" midi

of, if that doesn't work, just a few key words plus the word midi as in:

dog bananas midi
