Title: Transposing on Version 2
Post by: Lee Nuckols on 2005-03-24 07:47 AM
Does Version not automatically transpose?  I have noticed that when scoring for band, during play back nothing is in the same key.  Do I have to write everything in Concert Pitch?  Or Have I just not turned something on.  When writing I have gotten in the habit of scoring "as written". It will be an adjustment to have to start writing everything in concert pitch.

Use Staff Properties (F2) > MIDI to adjust the background transpsition. You can do it with your instruments patch in V2.

Hth!

Ertugrul and Lee were talking about how to get the correct "concert pitch" playback when writing the parts written in the "transposed pitch."

For those who start with concert pitch and want to transpose, don't forget to toggle the update playback option in the transpose menu.
