How would one go about opening a *.mid file in Noteworthy Composer?

I have Noteworthy Player, and I open them in there, but can you open them in the actual Noteworthy Composer window?

Yes. The file open dialogue box allows you to open midi or song files. Click the arrow on the right of the File Type window.
