Title: Flow To Coda - doesn't seem to work
Post by: Larry Wheat on 2005-03-08 12:34 AM
Entered music as per sheet music of "At the Ballet" from A Chorus Line. Instead of  1st ending, repeat, 2nd ending, the sheetmusic  has flow of S; DS al Coda; Coda

I can't seem to get the "To Coda" to go the the "Coda" in that senario - it just plays right through it into the first ending. I read past postings re double lines affecting it, but changing all bar lines to single didn't help.

The only way I can get it to play correctly is by using the repeat with special endings.

Is this normal with NWC2? I can't recall ever having had this happen with the older version.

In previous message I forgot to include that I have the "To Coda" as well.

S; To Coda; D.S. al Coda; Coda

IGNORE PREVIOUS - discovered my problem was that I had cut and pasted the To Coda from another piece, and it was only a text expression, not a flow - oops. Sorry!

Well, one good thing, Larry.  You'll never make the same mistake again, for sure!!
