What you probably want is: save a midi file that you have found on the Internet. Right click on the midi file, and save it to your hard disk. That is: if the page where you found it wil let you. Not all pages do.
Now, start Noteworthy and open the Midi file. You will want to save it as a Noteworthy file, so you can add things to it that cannot be saved in .mid format.

Be aware that a MIDI file is NOT simply electronic sheet music. When a music notation program (such as NWC) creates sheet music from a MIDI file, it must partly "guess" at what kind of sheet music would be used. The user will always have to edit the result.
