Title: Groups
Post by: Philip Dykes on 2005-02-02 06:23 PM
Sorry for the multiple posts, but what are groups, and how do I add them to my files?

Thanks,
Michael (Philip)

Your question isn't clear, what do you mean by "groups?"

Can you give a little more details about what you are trying to do with these groups?

I think I understand.

When you name a staff (press F2), you give it a staff name, a staff label and name a group.  Just pick whatever word you want for the group.  If you use the same word for two or three staffs, say "reeds", then when you go to file/page setup/ contents you just toggle that name on and off in the left window.  All the staffs that have that group name will turn off or on in the right window, and the ones with an x are the ones that will show on the screen in the edit and preview windows, as you work.

It's another one of those elegantly simple Noteworthy features.
